I’m a Finnish filmmaker living in Israel. I'm an experienced director in productions varying from TV commercials to documentaries and music videos. In my career I've been blessed to experience all aspects of production including script writing, director of photography work, editing, animating, directing and producing.

Angelino in the Shuk

Yoni Rappaport, a new immigrant who left Los Angeles and opened a solo, handcrafted taco stand called Angelino in the heart of Tel Aviv’s oldest open-air market, Shuk HaCarmel. Running a brand new restaurant is hard, but doing it as a one-man show while sirens go off and customers run for bomb shelters is a different thing all together. Yet, through the hardship of ongoing conflict, Yoni finds the of his new home country Israel far more meaningful than the life he left behind in the USA. From pressing every single masa tortilla by hand to cleaning his taco stand himself, this short documentary explores what it truly means to pull calm out of chaos and find home in the middle of a market.

The Storm

This is the story of a young Israeli Muay Thai champion fighter, Ruach Payu Gordon. Growing up in a country where the sport isn't big has had it's challenges as well as having to deal with a loss in the family. He is one of the three Gordon brothers who are professional fighters. The support and unity within their family as well as his faith in God is what gives him strength in fights.

The Golan Cowboy

Amidst the turmoil of war with Hezbollah in Lebanon, one Israeli cowboy refuses to give up. Tom Gilat lost most of his cattle and grazing land to rocket attacks, leaving his future uncertain. The Golan Cowboy is a story of resilience and hope as Tom goes through the challenges of rebuilding his life and his ranch. From the ashes of loss, he finds a new opportunity, demonstrating the enduring spirit of those who call this contested land home and their unwavering commitment to peace.

A (Short) Life Worth Living

Huugo, 3 years old, has a rare disorder called mucolipidosis. This happy little boy’s life expectancy is less than 10 years - is it a life worth living? Huugo had a short, but meaningful life. He passed away in February 2022.
